What date should I RSVP by?
We are asking that all guests RSVP online by September 1, 2024.
What health and safety measures will be in place for the wedding?
We will provide masks and hand sanitizer at the ceremony and reception for whomever wishes to use them. The indoor ceremony venue has ample seating space for those who wish to social-distance. The reception venue has indoor and outdoor space where guests can mingle and get fresh air. Guests who are having cold, flu-like, or COVID-like symptoms including but not limited to fever, body aches, chills, dry or productive cough, runny nose, itchy eyes, rash, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, loss of taste or smell, sinus inflammation, or nasal congestion are asked to stay home. We understand that illness can be unexpected and want to make sure everyone who attends feels safe and is able to have a good time.
What is the closest airport if I am visiting from out-of-town?
The closest airport would be Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
Need to book a hotel room?
You may book a hotel room with the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Cherry Hill, NJ using the Travel tab here on our website. The Doubletree by Hilton hotel is located 4 miles (approximately a 10 minute drive) from where the ceremony will be held at The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light, and 1.3 miles (approximately a 4 minute drive) from where the reception will be held at the Camden County Boathouse. We have reserved a courtesy block for our wedding guests at a discounted rate of $139/night.
Are the ceremony and reception venues wheelchair accessible?
Yes! There is wheelchair accessible seating available at the church and there will be elevator access at the reception venue.
How far is the church from the reception venue?
The ceremony venue, The Catholic Community of Christ Our Light, is 5.4 miles from the reception venue, the Camden County Boathouse (approximately an 11 minute drive).
Parking information for the ceremony?
Guests are invited to park in the church parking lot at the Catholic Community of Christ Our Light. Street parking is discouraged due to heavy traffic on Kings Hwy N during rush hour.
Are photos allowed during the ceremony?
Guests will be permitted to take photos during the start of the ceremony as the families, groom, wedding party, ring/coin bearers, flower girls, and bride process to the altar. Once the procession is over, it will be an "unplugged ceremony." Guests will be asked to turn off their phones to allow the hired photographer and videographer to capture the ceremony uninterrupted. Photos will be permitted again at the end of the ceremony when the bride and groom make their exit.
Will transportation be available from the ceremony to the reception?
For guests who are staying at the Doubletree by Hilton hotel in Cherry Hill, a shuttle will be available to take guests from the HOTEL to the RECEPTION.
Parking Information for the Reception?
Guests are invited to park at the Camden County Boathouse parking lot. There is also overflow parking available directly across the street from the Boathouse (the lot for Gridless, Core Mechanical, and 8th Street Music) as well as adjacent to the Boathouse further down N Park Drive at the parking lot for Cooper River Park/Cooper River Track/William G. Rohrer Children's Playground.
Where will the reception be held in the Camden County Boathouse?
Cocktail hour and the reception party will be held on the 2nd floor of the Camden County Boathouse. Guests will take the elevator up to the 2nd floor where they will enter the foyer. From the foyer, guests can access the restrooms, the smaller room reserved for cocktail hour, and the banquet room, which has a wraparound outdoor balcony space. Pictures may also be taken on the docks of the Cooper River, which can be accessed on the ground level of the building.
What is the dress code for the wedding?
Our wedding dress code is Festive Attire. We encourage guests to have fun with bold colors, patterns, and embellishments. If you want to go the extra mile**, you are invited to wear a costume, cosplay, or masquerade mask to the reception party. Am I allowed to bring a plus-one?
Invited guests will be specifically named when you RSVP here on our website. If you don't have a plus-one listed here on our website, you may not bring a plus-one.
Are children invited to the wedding?
Yes! All invited children will be listed with their household when you RSVP here on our website. Only the children listed on the website are invited.
What kind of food will be served at the wedding?
Catering will be provided by Andreotti's Catering & Events. Andreotti's provides a mix of Italian, American, and fusion cuisine. At the wedding, we will have a selection of passed hors d'oeuvres, buffet stations, and a late-night snack station. There will be a special dessert station featuring homemade desserts created by the bride's brother, John Nguyen.
Will there be meal options for guests with food allergies or dietary accomodations?
Guests will be asked to specify any food allergies or dietary accommodations when they RSVP here on our website. We will work with our caterer to have options for any needs specified.
What kind of beverages and bar will be available at the wedding?
Andreotti's catering will provide water and non-alcoholic beverages. There will be a limited open bar with beer, wine, and signature cocktails.
Do Katherine and Carlo have a wedding registry?
We have 2 cash funds set up in lieu of a gift registry. One fund is for our Home, the other is for our Honeymoon. If you wish to contribute, you may do so by clicking on the Registry tab here on our website.
