We met in November of 2022 and from the very beginning, we have focused our relationship on intentionality. Intentionally pursuing one another. Intentionally viewing each other through the love that Christ has for us. Intentionally seeking a type of love that exhibits the fruits of the spirit.

Our first date was at EastWest Restaurant in Birmingham (shameless plug for a fav restaurant). That first night, we did not only bond over our shared sense of humor and love of laughter but also our shared idea of what a true love should look like. Your definition of love may be a heavy topic for some on a first date, but not for us. We knew from the beginning that we were on the same page about our desire to love like Christ.

Since then, we have grown together through our shared love of our 3 dogs (Rika, Finn, and Reeses), our love of the outdoors (hiking, biking, going for walks), and our desire for growth in all aspects of life.

Over our time together, we have had numerous experiences that have been fun and joy-filled and others that were unexpected and heavy but through them all, we have realized that it does not matter the experiences as long as we get to go through them as partners for life.

We are so excited to celebrate our love and desire to commit our lives together with you all. We hope this time is a time of reflection on the blessing that is our relationship and future marriage.
