This was our first college date party soon after we met! We were lucky to have met when we were both still at A&M so we could be close to each other and go to lots of fun events! We were introduced by mutual friends Alyssa Muceus and Connor Castans (who are also now engaged)! We clicked instantly and couldn’t stay away from each other. We quickly became friends with each other‘s friends and started talking about how we wanted to spend our lives together!

We officially started dating on this night (meaning Kai asked me to be his girlfriend, finally!!) We were also celebrating Halloween! We dressed up as Talladega nights, and also watched the movie (because Katherine hasn’t seen any good movies).

5 months into dating and Kai meets Katherine's extended family at Emily and John's wedding! If you know them, you love them and also know they are a loud and goofy crowd. Kai fit right in and has loved visiting them many more times since this day. We can't wait for many more memories, laughs, and game nights in North Carolina!

Our first trip to Europe together to see the Graf family! We went to Germany and Paris and got to visit Kai's aunts, uncles and cousins. It was amazing to see where Kai's dad grew up and we can't wait to go back many times in the future to visit OUR family.

Katherine graduated college with her masters! No more long distance relationship. We get to live in the same city and both be working!

Kicking off 2025, which has been the year of getting more involved in our church community, growing in our faith, and surrounding ourselves with people that push us to be more like Jesus. We found so much purpose and peace in Christ and really started putting him in the center of our relationship.

And then, the best day of our lives. My sister, Tracy, and Lizzie and I were headed up to “meet the boys for John’s birthday lunch” after their round of golf. Little did I know, the boys never played golf, and we were not going to lunch. We turn down a gravel road and I see Kai standing in a suit looking so handsome (and a little nervous). From there, we laughed, cried, and celebrated all day with friends and family!
