The story began when Mason came across my Bumble profile late at night. He noticed that I really loved Legos. Little did I know that he did as well. So, he decided to write her that night. I would not see the message until the next morning.

September 28, 2024- Sunday

Sunday Morning, Katheryne is getting ready for church and decides to look at Bumble. She noticed that I sent her a message, and she replied. It was like we had known each other since we were kids. The conversation was flowing, and I mentioned that I would be in Jackson that afternoon to go to the movies with a coworker for his birthday. She sadly couldn’t join because they were celebrating her mom’s birthday. After the movie ended, we agreed to meet up at TJMaxx since she was still in town. I was very nervous, and so was she. She was already there with her little cousin. I walked in and looked around for her. I went to the cologne section and texted her that I was there. She showed up, and I fell instantly for her. Just like our messages, the conversations were flowing. We spent the rest of the afternoon going from store to store, just talking like we were old friends. It was getting late, so we decided to split ways. I didn’t want the night to end. Little did I know that she felt the same way.

October 1, 2024- Tuesday

Mason and I talked every day and at all times of the day. That Tuesday, I had tickets to go see Stephen Sanchez in Nashville. I mentioned that I had no one to go with, and I couldn’t go alone. He replied to me that he would totally join me that night. I was so nervous because this would be the second time we had met up, and it was a mini road trip! I left work early and rushed to get home. He let me know that he was on his way to pick me up. I was super nervous as he would be meeting my mom that same day. He pulled up to the house and got out. My mom introduced herself, and we went to the concert. The concert was a dream. The music was great, and his company was the best. At the end of the night, as we left the venue, he reached out for my hand and led me back to the car. Just like before, it felt like we’d known each other for ages. I knew that night that I really saw something special in him, and he felt the same way.

After that, we became closer and closer and decided to give this relationship a try. In May 2025, Mason asked the important question, and she said absolutely yes! And the rest is history!
