It all began in 2019, with a glance across the room at a restaurant called Safari in Dinuba. In that moment two strangers noticed each other and sparked a one of a kind love story. Of course, David did what any modern romantic would do: he slid into Kathia’s DMs. A message, a chance, a beginning. Fate stepped in just a week later, when David’s younger sister, unknowingly became the bridge between two hearts. David asked Kathia out on a first date over coffee. It was simple, sweet, and just the start of something so much bigger. About a year later during a weekend on the coast, David asked Kathia “Will you be my girlfriend?” She said yes and their story as a couple officially began.
Since then, our love has grown in every season. Weve enjoyed traveling, gardening, singing karaoke, relaxing at home with our fur babies, dates at bars or wine tasting, and walked hand in hand through life’s monumental moments. Together, weve grown a partnership built on love. In the summer heat of July 2024, surrounded by the trees of the Sequoia mountains, David got down on one knee and asked another question one even bigger than the first. With many tears, Kathia answered, YES!
