Q + A

Do I need to attend the ceremony and reception?

Short answer, no. Our ceremony will be a Catholic mass and, while we would love all who are invited to attend, we understand if you would prefer to just attend the reception.

Do I get a plus one?

Our wedding will be a small, intimate celebration, and only those closest to us will be in attendance. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate guests not indicated on the invitation and politely request that only those named in the invitation be present.

Parking??

For our ceremony, St. Mary's has paid street parking along Thompson street and the Thompson/Maynard garage next to the church. For the reception, Stone Chalet does not have a lot, but free street parking is available next to and behind the event hall.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Please see the lodging section for more information.

Are kids welcome?

This will be noted on your invitation!

Can I take pictures of the wedding to post online?

We would prefer guests to unplug and enjoy the festivities in the moment. If you would like to take any photos or videos, we ask that you do so sparingly.

Are the ceremony and reception wheelchair accessible?

St. Mary's has a ramp and elevator and restrooms are accessible once inside the building. Stone chalet has an accessible entrance from the driveway to enter the event space, but restrooms are not accessible as they are down several stairs.

Attire...

Something old, nothing new, something borrowed, something renewed: that is what we encourage all of our wedding guests to consider. All that to say, please dress up for a fun evening with us! A suit or jacket with a dress shirt and tie, or a floor-length dress, cocktail dress, or pantsuit are all welcome.
