We know that many of our guests are traveling from far and wide to be at our wedding and may plan to make a trip out of visiting Virginia. This winery has the number one tasting room in North America and is only 5 minutes from the venue.
Culpeper Restaurants
Raven’s Nest Coffee House
This is our favorite coffee shop in Culpeper, it's definitely worth the trip! We recommend getting a nice cup of coffee and moseying down Davis Street and enjoying all of the quaint shops.

This restaurant is at the top of our list to try!
PINTO Thai Culpeper Restaurant & Bar
We LOVE Pinto Thai and highly recommend the Panang Curry and the Drunken Noodles.
Grill 309
This is where Michael and Kathleen first had lunch together! Kathleen recommends the Reuben Sandwich while Michael has never ordered anything but his favorite, the Shrimp Po' Boy.

Patty O’s Cafe
This cafe is owned and operated by the award winning chef, Patrick O'Connell. The cafe is across the street from the Inn at Little Washington, a 3 Star Michelin restaurant located in the picturesque hills of Virginia. Whilst it does not carry 3 Star Michelin prices, the cafe, along with it's bakery, produces 3 Star Michelin quality dishes. Kathleen has been known to say that the Patty O's quiche Lorraine has ruined her for all other quiches.
The Inn at Little Washington
This 3 Star Michelin restaurant and inn is owned by award winning chef, Patrick O'Connell. It is set in the very small but quaint town of Little Washington. If you are looking for a high end dining experience with an Old South Virginia aesthetic, this is the spot!

Shenandoah National Park
The Shenandoah National Park is one of the more famous national parks in the south east. One of the most popular hikes is Old Rag, which sports incredible views of the valley and rural Virginia. If you are looking for a shorter hike with similar views we recommend Mary's Rock.
Historical Attractions
Montpelier's Visitor Center
Montpelier is the home of James Madison. There are several options for visitors including a walking tour or a grounds pass.
Monticello
This is Thomas Jefferson's house, which features beautiful grounds and several tour options.
Fredericksburg and Spotsylvania National Military Park
This is the site of four civil war battles and includes the death site of Stonewall Jackson.
