Q + A

When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?

Thank you in advance for sending your RSVP before August 28th. You can RSVP right here on our wedding website by going to the RSVP tab and searching for your name.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Think cocktail dresses or a suit and tie or a sports coat.

Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?

Yes! We have a block reserved at the Lodge at Liberty Hill. Please call (610)825-8000 to make your reservation. When calling, tell them you are with the Lyons-Cook Wedding. There will be a shuttle from the Lodge at Liberty Hill to the church at 3:15 and 3:30. The shuttle will return guests to the Lodge at the end of the night. There are plenty of hotels in the area. We've listed three alternate options under the Travel tab.

Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?

The ceremony will take place inside at St. Martin's-in-the-field church. Following the ceremony, guests will walk next door for cocktail hour at the Philadelphia Cricket Club with reception to follow. Cocktail hour will be on the patio (weather permitting) and the reception will be in the Ballroom.

Will transportation be provided between the hotel, ceremony and reception?

Yes! We have arranged for two shuttle buses to transport guests from the hotel to the church. Please arrive a few minutes early to make sure you catch your assigned shuttle. Shuttle A will leave at 3:15pm and Shuttle B will leave at 3:30pm. At 10:00pm, the shuttles will start returning guests to the hotel.

What time should I arrive?

Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive between 3:30pm to 3:45pm. This will give you plenty of time before the start of the ceremony to find your seat. Cocktail hour will start at 5:30pm, immediately following the ceremony.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

The ceremony is located at 8000 St. Martin's Lane, Philadelphia, PA, 19118. -From the Schuylkill Expressway: Get off the expressway at the Lincoln Drive exit, and follow Lincoln Drive through Fairmount Park and Mount Airy until it dead ends at Allen’s Lane. Turn right on Allen’s Lane, following it until it abuts into Germantown Avenue. Turn left onto Germantown Avenue, until you reach the lighted intersection at Willow Grove Avenue. Turn left onto Willow Grove Avenue, following it five blocks until you reach St. Martin’s Lane. -From the PA Turnpike/Blue Route: After the toll plaza, follow signs to Germantown Avenue East. Follow Germantown Avenue east for six miles until you reach the heart of Chestnut Hill. At Willow Grove Avenue, turn right and continue to St. Martin’s Lane, just past SEPTA’s St. Martin’s train station. The reception is located at 415 W. Willow Grove Ave, Philadelphia, PA, 19118. The Philadelphia Cricket Club is right next door to the church.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

Free parking for the ceremony is located across the street from the church in a gravel parking lot at the corner of St. Martin's Lane and Willow Grove Avenue. Look for the St. Martin's designation. There is complimentary valet parking at the Philadelphia Cricket for the reception.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We ask that you keep your phones away during the ceremony. We have a professional photographer to capture the day and we'd like everyone to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please feel free to take as many photos as you'd like during the reception!

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving light passed hors d’oeuvres accompanied by an open bar starting at 5:30pm.

Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free or special diet options?

Yes! Please let us know about special dietary needs when you fill out your RSVP.

Can I bring a plus one?

Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. In order to respect our catering agreement, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event with the exception of our flower girl and ring bearers. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where are you registered?

We are so thankful you will be joining us for this celebration of our love. A link to our wedding registry can be found on this website under the "Registry" tab. You can also find us by searching our names at Macy's, Pottery Barn, or Crate and Barrel.

Do you have any recommendations for where to eat, points of interest or things to do?
