COVID-19 Policies

Due to the rapid spread of the COVID-19 delta variant, we are asking our vaccine-eligible guests to be fully vaccinated prior to our wedding.&nbsp; If this is not possible for you, we ask that you drive yourself (as opposed to taking any public transit) to Rochester, obtain a rapid-test within 72 hours of the event and a proof of negative result, and wear a mask anytime you are not seated (we will provide a mask to guests who need or want a mask).&nbsp;&nbsp;

Wintergarden staff will be at the door to check you in-you will need to show proof of negative test within 72 hours OR a vaccine card (it can be a photo of your card, or your actual card, or any official app showing your vaccine status i.e. Excelsior pass for NY residents or whatever your state offers). They will also verify your contact information (just phone # and/or email address) for contact purposes. Feel free to email or text us copies of your vaccination cards ahead of time and I will forward it to the staff for faster check-in.







The Wintergarden staff will still be mandating that staff members wear masks while working.&nbsp;





We understand that this may be a sensitive topic for some people and would be happy to personally discuss further.&nbsp; Please understand that&nbsp;because we are hosting this wedding,&nbsp;we are&nbsp;responsible for maintaining the health and safety of all our attendees.

<ul><li>Hiking Paths, Benches,&nbsp;Picnic Areas</li><li>The Lamberton Conservatory, the recent recipient of a historical restoration award, houses exhibits that change up to five times a year and feature seasonal floral displays that might not otherwise survive Rochester's temperate climate.</li><li>Greater Rochester Vietnam Memorial commemorates the service, valor, and sacrifice of more than 28,000 Vietnam Veterans from our county region as well as the 280 men who gave the ultimate sacrifice.</li><li>Warner Castle, a historic castle in the heart of the park that has become a favorite spot for wedding photos, boasts the Sunken Gardens, a Shady Border, Rock Garden, Courtyard Garden, Iris and Daylily Bed, Old-Fashioned Rose Bed, Miniature Rose Bed, Fern Bed and a 13th Century Herb Garden.</li><li>John Dunbar Memorial Pavilion (Highland Bowl) includes an outdoor amphitheater that is used for summertime concerts and film series. Highland Park

At 447 acres, Ellison Park has the beauty of natural woodlands combined with steep slopes and the level flood plain of the Irondequoit Creek. Ellison has 5 softball diamonds, 1 multi-use athletic field, and a playground.&nbsp; It has one of our two legal&nbsp;<a href="https://www2.monroecounty.gov/parks-DogParks.php">off-leash Dog Parks</a>&nbsp;in the County Park system. Tennis courts are located in the park off Blossom Road, and are lined for Pickleball also. There are two designated sledding hills located in Ellison Park. A non-motorized/car-top boat launch is located by the Circle Shelter allows you to boat in Irondequoit Creek. &nbsp;Fishing is also allowed. Ellison Park has many trails; their locations are shown on the trail map. Fort Schuyler is another attraction that the park offers; this replica of the original Fort is a great attraction for the whole family.
