How do I RSVP?

You may RSVP through our wedding website, by calling or texting Becca Anderson at 812-360-7419, or by using the QR code included on the information card in your formal invitation. Invitations will be mailed around mid-June and RSVPs are requested by August 1st.

What date should I RSVP by?

RSVPs are requested by August 1, 2024

Is there parking available near your wedding venue?

Parking will be available on-site for our wedding. We will have parking attendants directing traffic and shuttle service will be available for guests who need assistance.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Our wedding will take place on a beautiful farm in south-central Indiana. Both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. In the event of inclement weather, all festivities will be moved to an alternate location near the farm. We will announce any location changes via text message and through our Facebook group the week of the wedding.

What are your accommodations for guests with handicap needs?

Our venue is outdoor, but will easily accommodate guests in wheelchairs or who use mobility scooters. Guests who need any assistance may see one of our parking attendants or ushers. We will also have handicap restrooms available.

What is the dress code for your wedding?

Our wedding is going to have a very casual, back yard atmosphere. Guests are welcome to wear dressy-casual or Sunday-best attire and are urged to wear shoes that will be comfortable when walking in grass.

What is the weather like in the area?

September is one of Indiana's most beautiful months! Temperatures average from the mid 70s to the low 80s. We are praying that the Lord will bless us with gorgeous weather on September 21st!

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

We are blessed to have a large amount of friends and family who will be joining us for our special day. So that we do not exceed our venue's capacity, we ask that only the guests included on the invitation attend.

Where should we bring/send our wedding gift?

We will have a gift table set up at our wedding that will include a box for cards. You may also mail gifts in advance to 8898 N. Texas Ridge Rd. Gosport, IN 47433. Kathryn and Logan's wedding registry can be found on this website under the Registry tab.

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Our wedding ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30. Guests are asked to arrive between 2:30 and 3:00 to provide ample time to get parked and seated. Should you arrive late, please park along the road and enter the ceremony space to the left of the farmhouse. We will have one of our ushers standing in that area to help guests to their seats.

Will dinner be served at the wedding?

Yes! We will serve a lovely dinner and look forward to sharing it with our guests.

Will alcohol be served at the wedding?

Both the bride and groom's families have chosen to not serve alcohol at the reception. We ask that no outside alcohol be brought to the wedding and appreciate our guests abiding by these guidelines.

What time will your wedding reception end?

We will conclude our wedding festivities at 8:30 with a sparkler send-off for the newlyweds!

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

A social hour will be held between the ceremony and reception. During this time guests may find their seats for the reception and enjoy light refreshments while the bride and groom take pictures with their families and bridal party. We ask that all guests vacate the ceremony space during this time so that pictures can be taken more quickly.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

Our guests are more than welcome to take pictures during all parts of our wedding day. However, we do ask that guests not enter the aisle of the ceremony or interfere with any shots our professional photographer is capturing. We will have a QR code that guests can scan so all pictures taken on our big day can be uploaded to one album for us all to see!

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

Of course! Our only request is that you wait for the Bride and Groom to have a chance to post a photo first. If you do choose to post pictures on your social medias, be sure to use our hashtag #CainALongWay

Where will wedding updates be posted?

We will share updates on our wedding website as well as a Facebook group.

What is the back-up plan in case it rains?

We are praying for beautiful weather for our wedding day! But if rain or other inclement weather is possible, we do have a back-up plan. We will announce via text message and our Facebook group any location changes the day before the wedding. If we are required to move our festivities indoors, the ceremony will still begin at 3:30 and will be held at Lifeway Baptist Church (located at 7821 IN-46 Ellettsville, IN 47429) and our reception will be held at the Stinesville Community Center (the former Stinesville Elementary School located at 7951 Main Street Stinesville, IN 47464). Both of these locations are just minutes from the Walter Anderson Farm so fortunately all of our guests will be able to make a potential location change with ease.
