Mitchell and Kathryn met in art class at Rancho Bernardo High school in 2011. Kathryn was a junior and Mitchell was in his senior year. They dated for about 3 and a half years and spent as much time together as possible. After a couple years they decided to split ways respectfully, to grow and mature on their own.

Remaining on good terms always.

Neko their handsome Bengal cat that they bought in high school was the string holding them together and keeping them in contact by checking in on the cat and occasionally meeting up because they both loved Neko very much. A couple years after breaking up, Mitchell attempted to get back together with Kathryn, but she was too stubborn at the time even though the feelings never went away.

Focusing on their own careers and figuring out who they were growing as adults was the priority until they finally starting dating again in 2020 during covid times. Officially on 2/21/21 they got back together and knew that it was going to last forever.

Kathryn can be cheesy and remembers the date because it was the 21st meaning a second chance at a first date.

After some time of dating and discussing their future together, Mitchell surprised Kathryn at his 30th birthday party turning it into a surprise engagement party as well. Surrounded by their friends and family, Kathryn said OF COURSE! YES! <3

The story continues now with plans to elope in Glacier National Park, Montana. A small and private ceremony was chosen because it allows them the special moments to cherish and spend together enjoying nature and the new beginning as a married couple.

Then on October 23rd, 2025 we will all excitedly gather to celebrate their love and marriage with close friends and family!

They have not yet thought of a honeymoon destination, but they are considering many beautiful nature destinations where they can travel and hike and explore and live happily ever after <3
