The Amerigo Vespucci Airport (FLR) in Florence, Italy is the closest large airport located 50 minutes by car from the venue.

The Aeroporto di Siena (SAY) in Siena, Italy is 45 minutes by car from the venue.

The Pisa International Airport (PSA) in Pisa, Italy is 1 hour 15 minutes by car from the venue.

From Florence: Starting at Firenze Santa Maria Novella, the major train station in Florence, take the Trenitalia line towards Siena, trains leave every hour. Get off at Poggibonsi-S. Gimignano stop. Walk about 2 minutes to the Poggibonsi Fs bus stop and take the 130: Porta San Giovanni bus to Piazzale Montemaggio in San Gimignano. This bus line also takes you to the venue (Guardastelle) just stop at Ristorante Nisio instead. All together this should take about 1 hour 30 minutes, depending on the time of day.

From Siena: Starting at Siena FS, take the Trenitalia line towards Firenze Santa Maria Novella, trains leave every hour. Get off at Poggibonsi-S. Gimignano stop. Walk about 5 minutes to the Largo Gramsci bus stop and take the 130: Porta San Giovanni bus to Piazzale Montemaggio in San Gimignano. This bus line also takes you to the venue (Guardastelle) just stop at Ristorante Nisio instead. All together this should take about 1 hour, depending on the time of day.

From San Gimignano:

Six minute drive using the address listed above. Alternatively, there is a bus that can take you from the main square of the town to the venue. Starting at the main plaza, Piazzale Montemaggio, take Bus 130 at the stop Poggibonsi Fs, ride for 5 stops, and get off at Ristorante Nisio. The venue will be a 3 minute walk ahead on the left.

From Florence:

You can easily rent a car at the Florence Airport or at the main train station, Firenze Santa Maria Novella. Don't forget to apply for an international driving permit at your local AAA branch before leaving home! The permit is good for 6 months, link here.

Alternatively you can hire a driver to take you from Florence to San Gimignano or the venue directly, check with your hotel concierge to help arrange.
