Typical temperature this time of year is in the high 60s.
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors on the Colony lawn (in the case of rain, there is a backup indoor space). The reception will be held indoors in the Colony Ballroom.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?
For guests staying at The Colony on Thursday the 26th, there will be a welcome party with a fire, light refreshments, and lawn games.
What should I do if I can’t make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
What time should I arrive?
We recommend arriving by 2:30 PM to ensure everyone makes it on time and can have plenty of time to get settled before the ceremony starts.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Parking is free in the Colony Hotel parking lots.
Are children/guests/plus ones welcome?
Due to space/guest limitation we will only be able to accommodate those on the RSVP list.
Do you have a hotel block for guests?
Yes! Please call the Colony at (207) 967-3331 and mention the Doiron Wedding May 27th to be included in our room block. There are multiple room styles.
When is the RSVP deadline?
The RSVP deadline is May 4th. Please RSVP above on the RSVP Tab.
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
Yes, The Colony can accommodate special dietary needs. When RSVPing, there is a special diet option. Please include a note so we can properly accommodate you.
Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We will have two professional photographers to capture the entire event. We would prefer you let them take the photos so you can be present with us on our special day.
What is the dress code?
Semi Formal or Dressy Casual! Some examples are a below-the-knee dress, a dressy skirt and top or an elegant pantsuit with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats. Men please wear a dress shirt and slacks, jacket and tie optional.
