<p>One cold night in Raleigh, North Carolina in March of 2021, Katie was out and about. She was dressed in an outfit not appropriate for the weather. Chris was out that night too, his first night out since quarantine and in North Carolina since being stationed there in February. Katie was walking around with friends looking for a place to stand by a fire to get warm. In that moment, Chris walked over and offered her and her friends a firepit to stand by. After a little hesitation, Katie went over. The line that got her? When he said "Where are you from?" She said, " Why bother telling you, you will have no idea." Chris persisted and after a while she said Johnstown, PA. Immediately Chris mentioned UPJ and from there the rest is history.</p>
