Claire has been Katie's best friend since living together throughout their college experience. They both attended ECU and graduated with degrees in Education, and continue to go through life together.

Wilson is John's twin brother and has been there through all the big moments in his life. They both attended ECU where their actual friendship began getting closer. They are each other's "Best Man" and will always be there for whatever the other needs in life.

Maddie has been Katie's friend for a long time and a sister since 2011. Maddie has been with Katie through many memories in life and continues to bless all of those around her.

Jay Gamble was one of the first friend's John made at ECU. They have been great friends since college and still get together a couple times a year for different trips to the beach.

Claire is Katie's closest high school friend who moved to Charleston, SC following graduation. Despite the long distance, their relationship has always been 100% supportive of each other throughout their growing experiences, and have continued to stay in touch since graduation in 2015.

Stephen is one of John's oldest friends. They met while swimming together on a year round swim team, and then continued that on the high school team. Through all the different directions life has taken them, they still always keep in touch and continue to be best friends.

Abbie is the third of the "sister trio" who adds the fun and free spirit to all of their adventures. Maddie, Abbie, and Katie have spent the last 12 years loving and growing together.

John considers Mike his "Day One" from college. They were each other's freshman roommate and first friends at ECU. They have been to a few sporting events together and always have time for phone conversation debating sports.

Sarah Turner is John's little sister who has done such an amazing job welcoming Katie into the Turner family. Katie cannot wait to see how their friendship grows into a future sisterhood.

Clay is another one of John's old friends. Like Stephen, they also met while on the high school swim team. Clay and John always try to get together when they are both in Chesapeake and always pick their friendship up right where they left off.

Cara has been Katie's close family friend since before either could remember. Their moms have been best friends for 35 years. Katie is so thankful and blessed for the example of friendship between these families throughout her life.

Sam is Katie's brother and now a friend of John's. Since the time Katie and John started dating, Sam has bonded with John over Capitals hockey and college football, which they talk about every time they get together.

Abbey is Katie's most recent friend who is also Jimmy Donatelli's fiancé. Their love of history has blossomed into many special trips and museum visits. As they continue to move forward in life, Abbey and Katie love to do fun things with the boys.

Jimmy is one of John's best friends from college as well. They were hall mates freshman year and even roommates during their senior years of college. While both went through the hospitality program at ECU, they have continued their friendship after college and talk on the phone a couple days a week just to catch up and talk about what has been happening in their lives.

Aunt Brenda, as John calls her, is John's godmother and great family friend. Having watched John grow up since he was an infant, and getting to know Katie over the last three years, Aunt Brenda has learned how John and Katie operate together. She is the perfect asset to have when it comes to planning and making sure everything goes according to Katie and John's wishes on their wedding day.

John's new sister-in-law and wife to Wilson Turner, Rachel has blended perfectly into the Turner family. Having gone through planning her own wedding recently, and soon to be "make up" wedding (thanks Covid), she is the perfect person to help John and Katie make this day special and memorable.
