As you make arrangements, keep in mind that the Ellijay Apple Festivals and Blue Ridge Arts in the Park will be held during the same weekend as the wedding. As a result, plan to encounter heavier traffic and budget your travel times accordingly. This will be particularly pertinent for those traveling north through Pickens, Gilmer, and Fannin Counties.

We would love to see our friends and family get all dressed up for our big day. Dress is semi-formal attire. For the gentlemen this can be a classic suit or blazer/button-down and dress pants. For ladies, dresses or dressy separates. You may also want to keep mind that October weather in Georgia can be unpredictable. Weather should be temperate, but you may consider bringing a jacket or shawl just in case. Ultimately, your presence is what matters most to us, so be comfortable!

As the leaves change in the mountains, tourism in North Georgia reaches its peak. Ellijay Apple Festivals and Blue Ridge Arts in the Park are both set to occur during the weekend of October 12th. If you are planning to stay in Blue Ridge for the entirety of the weekend, you may consider making arrangements for lodging and travel as soon as possible.
