Our paths didn’t really cross until senior year of high school, when we happened to sit next to each other in calculus. I (Katie) was focused on acing every test, while Caleb quickly realized he’d lucked out sitting beside the smartest person in class. Lol.

Somewhere between math problems and senior year chaos, a friendship started to form. When prom season rolled around, I asked Caleb to go as friends — and we had the best time together.

After graduation, we stayed close and kept finding excuses to hang out. Then, after my first year of college, I decided to transfer to Penn State… and by some wild coincidence, Caleb did too. We ended up sharing a house with two of our best friends, and from that point on, everything just clicked.

The rest, as they say, is history — and now we can’t wait to start our next chapter together.
