We met in the summer of 2012 through Kathryne's best friend, Jess Armstrong. Kathryne would spend some time at Jess' family cottage on Eagle Lake where Ryan's family also has a cottage. Eagle Lake holds a special place in our hearts and we cherish those first memories we shared back in 2012. Kathryne started university in Waterloo in the fall of 2013 and Ryan spent a lot of his weekends visiting her. Over those first few years of dating we grew close together very quickly despite having a long distance relationship. We have created many amazing memories over the years and purchasing our first home and taking home our puppy, Ricci, were definitely the highlights of 2021. Here's to many more incredible memories together! We are so grateful for the love we share for one another and can't wait for future milestones together. September of 2022 will mark our 10 year anniversary. We love the life we have created together and we are so looking forward to being able to celebrate our marriage with our family and friends come August 27th!

Ryan's birthday is December 27th and Kathryne's birthday is October 27th. Needless to say our number is 27, which is why we chose it to be our wedding date.
