Great place for hiking! Lots of trails of all levels of difficulty and distance. There is also a tram that runs 9am-4pm daily to enjoy transport to trailheads or just a scenic ride!

Mt Lemmon

Take a drive up the scenic Catalina Highway to the top of Mt. Lemmon and enjoy lunch and dessert at the Mt. Lemmon Cookie Cabin. There are several scenic pull-outs along the way, many hiking trails throughout, and even a small lake at rose canyon!


Some of our favorite Mt. Lemmon hiking trails include:

- Bug Springs (8.8 miles)

- Marshall Gulch (2.6 miles)

- Mint Springs (4.4 miles)

- Bear Wallow (3.6 miles)

The Chuck Huckelberry Loop

Over 150 miles of paved trail around Tucson! Accessible from nearly anywhere in town and almost entirely isolated from cars. Perfect for safely running, biking, or walking in the beautiful Tucson fall weather.

Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park has two locations in Tucson - East and West. There is a fee to enter ($25/vehicle/day good for both parks).


Saguaro NP East (Rincon District):

- 8 mile road traversing the park excellent for getting to trailheads or for scenic drive.

- favorite trails include Cactus Garden (3.8 mi), Bridal Wreath Falls (5.7 mi),


Saguaro NP West (Tucson Mountain Park):

- Gates Pass is a popular sunset viewing location

- Favorite trails include Wasson Peak (7.8 mi), Signal Hill (.3 mi)
