The area around Adair is very historical with the "Wild West" things that have happened. You can travel the area and see where the Jessie James train robbery is right outside of town. The White Pole road is a historical road that the venue is on, it was the first main by-way in the area. If you travel further east, the site that was originally a bank that Bonnie and Clide robbed is in Stuart.

And if you don't like looking at all the of the historical things in the area, there are always the little bars that are on every corner of all of the little towns in the area.
