It all began in September 2022 when fate brought us together on Hinge, a modern-day matchmaker. Katia and David swiped right, igniting a spark that would soon blossom into something extraordinary. After just one month of chatting and getting to know each other's quirks, passions, and dreams, we knew there was something special between us. David's genuine curiosity and endless stream of questions showed Katia his sincere interest, while Katia's enthusiasm for David's favorite football team, the Washington Commanders, instantly captivated him.

One memorable November weekend in 2022, we ventured to Katia's hometown in Upstate New York to introduce David to her beloved grandparents. Amidst the picturesque autumn scenery, we savored slices of perfection at Nirchi's, Katia's childhood favorite pizza joint, and indulged in the mouthwatering delights of the locally-famous Columbus Baking Company.
