As many of you are probably aware, our story begins overseas. We met in 2017 in Edinburgh, Scotland within the first few weeks of our semester abroad program. We met first on a pub crawl, that for only 10 GBP, we gained entry to five different bars with a complementary shot at each. By the 3rd or 4th location, Clay gladly accepted Katie's complementary shot and they became fast friends.

Our first date included breakfast sandwiches and day of walking around Edinburgh's museums and tourist attractions, well only the ones that were free of admission, we were broke college kids! The start of our relationship feels like that of a dream or a movie: cappuccino dates in Florence, tapas in Barcelona, and Guinnesses in Dublin. We will hold on to these memories for a lifetime and Scotland will always hold the most special place in our hearts.

Life back in the states was much less glamorous, but our love and relationship continued to grow with each life moment we experienced together. Since graduating from our different colleges, we have moved to Boston, begun our careers and created a home. We continue to love to travel, ski, play pickleball, golf, and spend time with our friends.

Our family and friends are essential to our story and we cannot wait to celebrate together.
