Colin and Katie met at Barretts Barleycorn (the best place on earth) through a mutual friend in 2017. We hung out on the patio with some friends for a while that day and about a week later went on our first date. We both realized that we weren't in the right time of our lives to be in a relationship so from 2017-2019 we were just friends and became more acquainted with one another. On August 4, 2019 Colin asked Katie on another date that we like to call our "second first date." We went to a Jason Isbell concert in Benson and a little over a month later on September 20, 2019 Colin officially asked Katie to be his girlfriend and the rest is history!
