Their story began in the summer of 2019. The couple first met at Katie’s sister, Haley’s surprise birthday party. It started with a passing hello, but it turned into something much greater. After the party ended, Katie and Sean-Paul continued to get to know each other by going on dates and spending much of their time together. As the summer came to an end, they decided to make it official and began dating.

With Katie finishing her degree at Bloomsburg and Sean-Paul finishing his degree at Penn State, they made the time to see each other any chance they could. From date parties in Bloomsburg to watching each others sporting events, Katie and Sean-Paul made long distance feel not so far away.

As time went on, they were always looking for the next adventure. One adventure they look back on frequently is their trip to Philadelphia. They explored museums, The Eastern State Penitentiary, The Philadelphia Flyers game and of course, LOVE Park. This trip sparked the many exciting trips the couple went on. They found their forever vacation spot in Dewey Beach, Delaware, the many trips to see the New York Yankees, took their first plane ride together to Boca Raton, explored awesome waterfalls and even saw Niagra Falls. Their favorite part of these trips is the time spent together traveling to these destinations and listening to their favorite music on the long car rides.

Looking down the road a few years, Katie and Sean-Paul graduated college and moved in together. Moving in together was a very exciting time as they continued to learn more and more about each other. They could finally create the life they had been dreaming about.

After a year and a half of living together, Katie and Sean-Paul got their first dog, Ellie. Bringing Ellie into their lives brought them even closer, creating the first look at their little family. Their first family vacation with their pup was at their favorite spot, Dewey Beach. Life has become a lot more exciting with the addition to their family.
Now to the moment Katie had been waiting for...the proposal. Ever since they got Ellie, Katie had been talking about getting professional family pictures taken. Katie reached out to the photographer and got a session booked. Sean-Paul jumped right on this opportunity to make it a proposal. Working closely with family and friends, he made it happen. After taking some photos, it was time for the big moment. Sean-Paul got the cue, dropped to one knee and asked Katie to spend forever with him. It was by far the best day in either of their lives. Katie and Sean-Paul’s family and friends planned an amazing surprise engagement party to celebrate. The day could not have been any more perfect. The only day that will top their engagement, will be the day they get to celebrate with all of their favorite people, the wedding day!

They can’t wait to celebrate with everyone and continue adding to their story!
