Wow! Thinking back to the beginning is crazy for us. Seems like just yesterday but also a lifetime ago. Neither of us are great storytellers but here we go…

We actually met online. I (Katie) was about to give up and take a step back when I saw David's profile and thought why not, what's one more message? Little did I know, that one message would change our lives forever.

Our first date was at the Hacienda on Lincolnway in Mishawaka (now I know that he does care for Hacienda, haha) and then we took a walk around Beutter Park just down the street, which is later where we had our engagement photos taken. We became an "official" couple on June 14th, 2015.

In 2017, we moved into an old farmhouse in North Liberty where we can enjoy the sound of birds chirping and more importantly cows mooing. We have two Australian Shepherds, Callie and Aria who never stop entertaining us.

On February 12th, 2023 David [finally] popped the question at our favorite place, home. He made a nice lunch that consisted of steak, asparagus and baked potatoes. He got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife and well, I obviously said yes otherwise we would not be here! We love the life we have built together and we are so excited to share our special day with you all.
