The biergarden at the Funkatorium is our go-to spot in Asheville. It's right in downtown AVL. The primary Wicked Weed location is a couple blocks away from the Funkatorium, and it's also a great spot!
We highly recommend checking out New Belgium while you're in Asheville. Fat Tire and Voodoo Ranger are some of our favorites!
About 20 minutes from downtown AVL, Sierra Nevada has great beer and food! There are walking trails around the property and brewery tours for $9.

There is a lot to do on the Biltmore property! Tour the mansion, visit the spa, go horseback riding, walk the gardens, or do a complementary wine tasting.

This is a great easy hike. Unfortunately, the trail is closed due to the hurricane. Check online before you go.
Lake Lure is about 45 minutes from AVL and it's a great stop if you're driving from CLT. There are several hiking trails with stunning views. Some parks and trails, including Chimney Rock, are still closed from the hurricane. Check online before you go.

Rhubarb is an upscale dinner spot. It is farm-to-table, fresh, and unique. The menu changes daily.
Pack's is a great casual restaurant with American/Southern food.
Cúrate is an upscale Spanish tapas restaurant and a staple of downtown Asheville.
Tupelo Honey is delicious and a great option for brunch or breakfast!
White Duck Taco Shop has delicious tacos with unique ingredients.
