Our Story
Our Story
Our story starts back in November 2018 where Aaron remembers sitting at the same interview table as Katie for our internship interviews at PNC Bank. Summer 2019, we were in the same capstone group project during our internship. But, it wasn't until Summer 2020 when Katie moved to Pittsburgh for the full time program when we actually became closer friends. Throughout 2020 and early 2021, we started to develop a fun friendship that morphed into love.
In the Fall of 2021, we started to hang out one on one and stayed up late into the night talking about everything - family, values, goals. After a night at Walter's we had our first kiss and then we went on our first date at Mercurio's later that week. Date after date, we soon both knew that this was going to be forever.
We moved in together during the summer of 2022, became a family of 3 when Gwen moved to Pittsburgh at the end of that summer, and have built a wonderful foundation for our life ahead!
In January 2024, we took Gwen to a trail up in Millvale, PA where we frequently go for walks. At the end of the walk, after all passers-by were out of sight, Aaron proposed! Since then, we moved to southern Connecticut in June of 2024 and we can't wait to get married in October 2025!
