Our Wedding

Our love story started further back than to be expected. We first met back in 2015 and from the moment we saw each other at our friend Tara's house we both knew that we were in the presence of someone very special. Although we didn't end up being together at that time we became friends and still kept in touch when we could. Time and life experiences brought us back together to reconnect in 2021. We happened to match through a dating app called plenty of fish. I can remember seeing Mikie's smile when we met up for the first time on that rainy day in April. We had no idea what the future has in store but we were ready for it. Since then we've been to Costa Rica twice, attended many concerts/shows, went to many amusement parks, yoga retreats, renaissance fairs, ziplined in the jungle, and many more fun adventures. Our most recent adventure has been purchasing a home together with our two dogs Doug and Stewart back in September. In the beginning of October we had a family house warming dinner with both are immediate families. Little did I know that Mike had something planned. As we were enjoying finally having both our families over to see our new home, a plot was afoot. Mikie called everyone over the couch for a group family photo, which was strange because that never happens. I went ahead and set my phone up at our entertainment center then began to set a timer to take the photos with our family. As the third photo was about to go off Mikie then came up stopped me before next photo. Mikie got down on one knee and I started to cry like a little baby. And of course when he asked I said "YES" with tears of joy in my eyes. The last three years have been some of the best years of our lives because we have shared them together. I cant wait to see what forever looks like.
