Christopher and Katie’s love story began in the summer of 2020. The world was falling apart due to the pandemic, but Christopher and Katie were falling together. Katie and Christopher were scheduled to spend their summer in Sea Isle City.


Christopher’s mom tells our story best. She always starts by saying that Chris didn’t even want to go down the shore on the Friday of MDW - the first night of his summer rental. Both his mom and his brother, Ryan, convinced him to head down. His mom then goes on to say that only a few short weeks later Christopher started to rush down the shore and say “Can’t talk Mom, I gotta go.” At this point, she turned to Mr. Tait and told him she thought Christopher had met someone.


Those of you who know Christopher know that he is easy to love, and it didn’t take long for Katie to figure that out. We started dating August 2, 2020.


In May 2023, we bought our first home together and exactly one year later, Christopher proposed in our living room.
