A Modern Fairytale

We met the way many young couples meet these days... Online. Yep, that's right folks. True love started when we both "swiped right".

It wasn't always that easy. There was the connundrum of our first date at Hub City Ice Cream Company in Marshfield, WI. We both showed up underdressed and condensating from the hot summer sun. His shirt was stained and my makeup was coming off with my forehead sweat. (I know, pretty hot, right?). I made an embarrassingly bad joke about the "clean spoons" label on the utensils container, and he actually LAUGHED. I could have said yes right then and there. We walked and talked for hours that day. Any Joe Schmoe passerby would have thought we were old friends out for a stroll.The rest is basically history.

He was training to complete an Iron Man, and I had never counted calories a day in my life, but somehow we meshed. In that little 700 square foot apartment in Wisconsin, we bonded over stand up comedy, hiking, late night walks to get gas station cheesy bread, concerts, and spur of the moment road trips. Into the early hours of the morning, we could be found on a park bench or walking down a city street, unraveling the parables of our most treasured memories. It was our two year anniversary when he dropped to one knee and vowed to make me his best friend forever. I only cried for a few days.

Of course we couldn't have done it without the support of our family and friends. If you are reading this, just know that you hold a very special place in our hearts and we are forever grateful for the impact, big or small, that you have made in our future. Our Story

Chelsie is Katie's older sister and best friend! The two have been joined at the hip since the beginning. Some of Katie's favorite memories with Chelsie include outdoor adventures, showering in the rain, and late night doodling. Those who know Chelsie know her for her strong will and creativity. Chelsie and her husband Anthony have a beautiful daughter, Alaina, and our expecting another addition to the family in February!

Zach is Jerry's oldest friend and second brother. Some of Jerry's favorite memories with Zach include staying over to play Too Fast Too Furious and competing in baseball and football together. Those who know Zach remember him for his giant loving heart and enthusiastic personality. Zach and his fiance, Lexie, have three beautiful children: Hazel, Lorelei, and the newest addition, Emmitt!

Travel

Shuttles schedules are as follows! Hotel Marshfield-Shuttle will be running from 2:00-4:00 for drop off to the venue.-Please let the front desk know when you check in that you will be planning to utilize their shuttle service so they know how many to expect! Holiday Inn-Shuttle will be running from 2:00-4:00 for drop off to the venue.-The shuttle will be making loops to and from the venue during this time, so be sure you in the lobby around the time you would like to be picked up! -The last pick up time available will be 4:00. Returning Shuttle-A shuttle will be running from the venue back to the hotels from 8:30-11:00.-Just tell the driver where you would like to go! Nutz Deep Bar for more drinks? We've got you! Ready for bed? We can take you back to your hotel, even if it isn't the two locations listed above!-Final pick up time available to leave the venue will be 11:00.
