Our Wedding

Katie and Bryan met in 2016 at a University of Illinois, at an event they both ended up at through a chain of friends-of-friends invites. The chance encounter turned into something much bigger after they found themselves talking to each other through most of the party. After plenty of study dates, campus outings, and late nights with friends, they found an easy connection that stuck.

Our Story

They made long distance work after graduation until both moved to Chicago in 2020 for graduate school and work. Now settled in Lakeview, they love lakefront walks, trying new restaurants, and spending time with their dog, Franklin. They enjoy traveling together, especially to National Parks and Door County, WI.

In September 2024, Bryan proposed to Katie at North Pond, Katie's favorite restaurant, with the Chicago skyline behind them. They are looking forward to their future together and can't wait to celebrate their love with all of you in September 2026.
