Katie and Kyle met on a dating app (Hinge) in Charlotte, NC in July 2022. Their first date was at Wooden Robot, a local brewery, where they played trivia. Katie falsely bragged about being good at trivia, not knowing Kyle is full of random knowledge and actually takes it seriously. Luckily, her good looks and personality made up for it. They fell in love that night and have been inseparable ever since. They happily formed a life together in Charlotte where they live in a townhome with Katie's two cats. Kyle's still getting used to being a cat dad.
