By July 12, we’ll have been married for 56 days — and even though it’s still the beginning of our marriage, our story has been years in the making.
We went to school together all our lives, but it wasn’t until the week before the end of our senior year that we truly connected. Out of nowhere, we got close as friends and something just clicked. From there, we dated for a year, making memories, figuring life out, and falling in love.
Eventually, we went our separate ways. It wasn’t easy, but it gave us both the space to grow on our own and become the people we were meant to be. We learned a lot during that time apart — about ourselves, about love, and about what we truly wanted.
And then, as if it was always meant to be, we found our way back to each other. This time with clearer hearts, stronger roots, and no doubts.
Now, we’re officially husband and wife — married in the breathtaking Smoky Mountains, surrounded by nature, family, and so much love. We couldn’t be more excited for what’s ahead. Life has already taught us that love doesn’t have to be perfect to be real — it just has to be honest, resilient, and full of grace. And ours is.
