We met in 2020, right before the Covid shut down. My mom passed away, I missed out on a career opportunity, and the world was closed. It was a rough time for me, but Michael was so kind and helpful. We spent so much time doing jigsaw puzzles, cooking new foods, bringing the dogs to the park, and building the most epic Zoo's on ZooTycoon. If one good thing came out of the covid shut down, it was the time we got to spend together just really getting to know one another.

We went on our first big adventure! Hiking in Red Bluff, MS with BotBot and Tyson. Seeing Michael love my dogs and take them hiking with us was such a huge thing for me.

We decided to add another pup to the pack. The fireman had to have his Dalmatian, so Spanner joined our family. If you get a dog together, you know it's real.

Our first Christmas! Michael experienced his first David / Granger / Hollier Christmas, and he loved them, and they loved him!

Katie also got to experience her first Christmas with the Lemoine's and Esterly's. She was welcomed with open arms and fit right in.

We go on our first trip to Tennessee for our birthdays and have the absolute best time hiking and exploring together. Little did we know, this trip would become a staple in our lives.

We bought a house together!

What better place to fight with your siblings than Disney World?! Katie and Leah did what they do best, and fought in the happiest place on earth. What better way to get to know your sibling-in-law than getting in the middle of a sibling squabble.

We took yet another trip to the Smoky Mountains, but this time with Katie's grandma, Wilda, and Ambrie and her Husband Mark. This is when we decided it would be a staple trip in our lives.

And then we went to Holly Beach! The adventures never stop! On the last day of this vacation we planned our Montana vacation. Did I mention we love to travel and explore what this beautiful world has to offer?

Montana adventure begins! We drove through Badlands National Park, saw Mt. Rushmore, then made it to stunning Montana, where we hiked and explored and enjoyed our cabin on Ashley Lake. We both agree that this is one of the most breathtaking places you could ever go.

And then it happened! After a full day of seeing Moose, goats, sheep, bears, and hiking 7 miles up to the glacier, Michael pointed out a little heart cut out of a rock, and then he proposed! As an onlooker shouted, "She just got some ICE on that ice!!" The journey was beautiful and full of adventure, and now we are so excited to hike through this new adventure, Marriage!
