Luke and Katie met when Katie was a freshman and Luke was a sophomore at Taylor University in the cornfields of Indiana. Luke was instantly mesmerized by Katie's amazing personality and hilarious sense of humor. They were on the same brother-sister wing and knew of each other, but became friends when they sat next to each other in Intro to Psychology.

From sharing notes in class, to talking and texting all the time, to going on dates, to deciding to be more than friends, to doing long distance in 2 countries and 5 states, to now getting ready to NEVER having to do long distance ever again!

Luke proposed by re-creating their favorite date at the Van Gogh exhibit at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, and then they celebrated by eating pizza and getting Katie cold medicine (because she is sick all the time). Excited for forever, in sickness and in health, am I right??
