TL;DRBoy Meets Girl at a random bar two weeks after she moves to San Francisco. Lives change forever. It’s your classic boy meets girl story. If that love story is extremely rare and totally by luck.&nbsp;The night we met we both were hesitant to go out. I had only known a few people in the city at the time, one of whom was nice enough to invite me out that evening. Clark had already called it a night when his friends called and said " We're on our way!" I was at the bar alone as my friend had already met some people more entertaining than me. Last beer then I'll head out, famous last words. I spot Clark and his friends on the dance floor, really busting a move. I thought, “that’s a circle I can groove with”. I shimmied my way over and made my way into their dance crew. We sparked up a conversation and the next thing we know we’re shutting down the bar.&nbsp; As we were saying our goodbyes, Clark smoothly asked for the digits. I gave him my number and in classic Clark style, his phone died immediately after the save button.&nbsp; The conversation never really stopped after that night. Things were casual at the start, it wasn’t until we both were leaving for the summer that we realized we didn’t want to talk with anyone else.&nbsp;We have been extremely grateful to share the past six years together and can’t wait to see what the future will bring!

Accommodation Update 

Due to an AC issue at the Hilton Garden Inn, Rockaway NJ, all parties who booked through our booking link will be transferred to the Sonesta ES Suites in Parsippany NJ 3 Gatehall dr &nbsp;07054. The welcome dinner location will not change. If you booked outside our booking link at the Hilton Garden Inn, you should get an email from the hotel. They will provide you with a list of recommended hotels and a refund. We are still planning on providing a shuttle service. It will now pick up and drop off at the new hotel location (Sonesta ES Suites). Again, sorry for the inconvenience. Katie &amp; Clark

Is there a Registry?

No registry. These past two years have been tough on us all.&nbsp;Life has thrown Clark and me a few curve balls during this time and one thing we have come to appreciate is our support system. We know traveling, near or far is expensive and time-consuming. Respectfully, your presence at our wedding and in our lives is gift enough. We understand not everyone will be able to join us in this celebration, but we know you’ll be there in spirit! Will there be any activity the night before? 

Yes! We are hosting a welcome dinner Friday evening for any and all who wish to join! When: Friday, May 27, 2022Where: Hilton Garden Inn, Rockaway NJWhat time: 6:30pm - 9:30pm No need to RSVP, just come on in!

Do I have to take the shuttle? 

You are more than welcome to use whatever mode of transportation you feel most comfortable with. A few notes you should be aware of: Uber / Lyft is very limited after 9 pm. You are allowed to leave your car at the venue overnight, should you have too much fun during the evening.

What Kind of Shoes should I wear? 

The ceremony will be on the beach and the reception on the boardwalk.&nbsp;We recommend wearing flats, or wedges. Something sturdy you can dance in!&nbsp;&nbsp;

Q + A

While accessible from all major NY area airports Newark Liberty is the recommended airport. It is about 45 miles from Lake Mohawk Country Club. More Transportation info to come!
