Edgefield, an old "poor farm" built in 1911, is a sprawling 74-acre property which was converted into a hotel; now complete with restaurants, numerous bars, a spa and huge soaking pool, two par-3 golf courses, gardens, and a theater and concert venue. The ceremony and reception will be held on property and we have reserved a block of rooms for those needing them. This property is very artsy and funky with a vintage vibe. That being said, the hotel has maintained a lot of its original facilities, like shared bathrooms for many of the rooms, and lack modern comforts, like air conditioning and TV. Its a popular busy hotel and can get loud for those early to bed. They do have fans and we will bring some extras but it can get hot in July.
