Jake and Katie were fortunate enough one night, to both want to go on Bumble and try out their Speed Dating. You were able to chat with someone for a couple minutes without knowing their name or seeing their picture and at the end you could swipe yes or no if you wanted to match. Both swiped yes and they never stopped talking. Jake and Katie both attended Bowling Green State University for college and despite Katie's best friend having classes with Jake, their paths never crossed. Luckily, a couple years after he graduated college, Jake took a job in Toledo which brought them back into proximity of each other. After one week of talking, Jake asked Katie out on a date to a Mexican restaurant where Katie told her friends she would have to hold back on eating her weight in chips and salsa and eat like a "lady" as to not scare him off. It is safe to say that this did not scare Jake away. After the date, Jake invited Katie out for ice cream but Katie declined because she knew Jake had to get up early the next day for work. This decision did not go over well with Katie's friends. When the two parted ways for the night, Jake called his sister to tell her about it and his sister had to remain calm even though she was dying to ask all of the questions but didn't want to scare Jake into not telling her anything. Jake and Katie hit it off immediately and the rest, as they say, is history.
