Nathan and Katie met at a BBQ at Nathan’s house in 2015 when friends from church got together one Saturday. Little did we know that wouldn’t be the last time we would meet.
For the next 6 years we moved, got new jobs, made new friends and succumbed to online dating. Flash forward to 2021 when Katie moved back to Ellensburg after living away in Montana, they reconnected online and went on a date… then Nathan took Katie fishing and they became inseparable ever since.
If you would have told us years ago in 2015 at that BBQ that we would end up getting married 9 years later, we would have laughed and said there’s no way, considering how opposite they are from one another. But flash forward to present day and they couldn’t be anymore in love than they are now. God has blessed them in many ways and they continue to push each other to be better versions of themselves, to be cheerleaders for one another, and to always promise to love and fight for one another even when it’s hard.
We thank you for following along on this journey all these years as a couple and now as husband and wife.
