Opening Friday, November 18 In Market Square, you'll find the picturesque Peoples Gas Holiday Market. Inspired by the original German Christkndlmarkts, the Holiday Market features national and local vendors housed in vintage, wooden chalets selling one-of-a-kind holiday gifts.

Tree Lighting and More Holiday Fun

Tree Lighting ceremonies and events will take place throughout the city. The City of Pittsburgh's 106th Tree Lighting and Zambelli Rooftop Fireworks at the City-County Building is at 5 p.m. The 60-foot city tree features hundreds of oversized ornaments, making it the perfect Instagrammable holiday photo opp. Additional trees will be lit throughout the city including the Highmark Christmas Tree Lighting, Sphere Tree at Market Square, trees at One Oxford Centre and the Duquesne Light Holiday Tree of Lights at Point State Park.

The Rink at PPG Place

Venture over to PPG Place to ice skate around the beautifully decorated 65-foot illuminated Holiday tree on The Rink at PPG Place. The outdoor ice rink is open from the public starting Nov. 18!
