Katie and Stev first met in one of the most romantic and touching places any two people could have possibly met... the break room of Barnes&amp;Noble in Burbank, California. It was a meet cute that every film wishes it could emulate. A dapper young man in an apron, taking his fifteen minute break after slinging lattes and frappucinos all morning. A beautiful girl, looking for a job that could give her the time to pursue her dream and career of becoming a working actress. As Stev walked into the room, he had no idea he would be meeting Katie, who was sitting at a table filling out her information to work at the quaint little bookstore in suburbia. Katie had recently moved to the big city from the small farming state of Indiana full of optimism and spirit. Stev had lived in Los Angeles for about eight months, going to school for Audio Engineering, and working at Barnes&amp;Noble just to scrape by. He had moved to LA, after living in New Orleans for six years, to chase his dream of doing post production in the film industry. A few months went by, along with some casual flirting between the two. They were both loyal to their oaths to not date a coworker, so they never pursued one another. It wasn't until Stev had told Katie of his plans to move back to New Orleans after his schooling was over that Katie realized she did not want to him move. Not the best of times to figure that out. It seemed the man of her dreams was just out of her reach, especially since he had already sent boxes back to New Orleans. Many phone calls to her mother were made about her woes (Sorry Mom!)...Until one serendipitous evening that brought both love and Stev's dream job into fruition. They were at the tavern called "Golden Road" to say goodbye to a coworker. *Spoiler Alert* They would end up living in said coworker's apartment together a few months later.Many friends were sad to hear that Stev was leaving, and they kept telling Katie that he would not be leaving. Katie was slightly inebriated, and she believed them when they told her this story. While it seemed far-fetched, Stev had actually met someone that night, someone he had been trying to meet for one year, that would help him find his job at Level 3. Brazenly, Katie asked Stev to karaoke with her, and they sang "Sweet Caroline" together. Stev then decided to not let Katie risk an uber home alone, and gallantly offered her a ride home. When they got to her place, she was not going to let the moment slip by her. Just as he was walking away after saying goodnight, she called out, "Can I try something?" With which Stev replied, "You can try anything you want." They kissed and have spent almost everyday together since.&lt;3

In the summer of 2016, Katie and Stev took a trip to Washington DC to visit Stev's aunt Lea, uncle Carl, and their daughter Sophie. While there, Lea pulled Stev aside one evening to show him his grandmother's ring. It was left to Stev's mother to eventually be given to Stev to use as an engagement ring, if he so desired. Stev had been contemplating for a few weeks when he wanted to propose to Katie, and at the time he had decided to pop the question in the summer of 2017. However, in October, while on a bachelor party with his good friend Andrew, Stev began feeling an overwhelming desire to propose as soon as he could. Katie and Stev had already planned on going up to Fairbanks, Alaska for Andrew's wedding on New Years Eve. So, Stev decided he was going to ask Katie on Christmas Eve. It was important to Stev to get Katie's father's blessing before he proceeded. On Thanksgiving, Stev pulled Doron aside and asked for his blessing to propose to his daughter to which he immediately said yes and gave Stev a huge hug. With the blessing, Stev proceeded to get the ring from his aunt who kindly had the ring cleaned and wrapped. Stev was nervous to hold onto the ring for a month, so he asked his aunt to mail the ring to his mother up in Fairbanks. Before Stev and Katie flew up to Alaska, they opened presents in the apartment in LA so that they wouldn't have to bring them on their trip. They then left LA on December 23rd late in the evening and arrived in Fairbanks on Christmas Eve morning. Stev's friend Andrew was down in Anchorage with his fiancee finishing up their details for their wedding, and Andrew had offered Stev his cabin to stay in and use for the engagement. Katie had no idea what was coming that night. After taking Katie around his old stomping grounds, Stev's mother, Alena, prepared them all a wonderful dinner at the cabin. They then all watched Love Actually, one of Katie and Stev's favorite Christmas movies. After the film concluded, Stev's mom handed him the wrapped box and told him good luck. Katie and Stev were on the couch, winding down for the evening, when Stev sat up and told Katie he had one more present for her that he knew she would love. He fetched the box from their room and handed it to Katie. As Katie unwrapped the gift, she thought that it might be earrings or a necklace due to the shape of the box. When she opened it, shock covered her face. Stev had gotten down on one knee, but she couldn't hear a word until "...will you marry me?" and just kept saying, "What?" repeatedly. She swung her arms around Stev and began to cry "Yes!" When she could finally pull herself away, she asked Stev what he had said. Stev had said:"We all have a story to tell. Would you like to share one together? Katie, will you marry me?"

"I am the cute one, she's just my sister..." 🎶  Just kidding, she's adorable! Katie and Lauren like to make fun of each other, but Katie really hit the jackpot with landing a big sis like Lauren. She's a Nurse Practitioner by day and Super mother of 3 by night. Some of Katie's fondest memories with Lauren is when she would pretend to be "Leon Deon", Katie's very own french  Make-up artist and Hair dresser. Katie couldn't think of anyone better to stand right next to her on her big day!

Stev first met Roy in 1999 at Randy Smith Middle School in Fairbanks Alaska. They were assigned a science project to build a working trebuchet together, much to Stev's relief because he was terrible at science. What started as two kids working on a project together has led to nearly two decades of friendship. Throughout the years their friendship has never faltered, even when Stev moved across the country to go to college, Roy was always a phone call away. Roy is more than a friend to Stev, he is his brother and best man.

It all started with the iPhone. Stev met Chris at the University of New Orleans in the fall of 2007. Stev had decided to rush Lambda Chi Alpha of which Chris was a member. During a rush event at a UNO Volleyball game, Stev noticed Chris showing his iPhone to a couple of the brothers. In awe of such technology, Stev approached Chris and asked to see the phone to which Chris happily obliged. What started as a nice conversation between two strangers turned into a brotherhood of 10 years. Chris became Stev's big brother in not just the fraternity, but in life as well.

How do you even start with this girl... Katie and Steph go WAY back. They became friends in middle school, and best friends while training as cheerleaders the summer before High School. Ever since then, no matter distance or time, they have always kept in touch and remained besties. Their inside jokes are endless, as is their friendship. :)  Stephanie is an amazing fashionista, a "Steph Mom" to two girls, and she can literally run circles around Katie. Also, her dance skills are on point.👌Katie can't wait to have her there on her special day!

Stev met Brian in 2001 in high school on the swim team along with his twin brother Andrew. Stev spent many weekends over at Brian and Andrews house playing Halo into the wee hours of the morning. Brian has always made Stev laugh with his impressions, his jokes, and teasing of Andrew to which they are still laughing to this day after 16 years. Brian has also inspired Stev throughout their brotherhood with his steadfast determination to enjoy life to the fullest.

So, Katie fell in love in college with this girl. She is the almond butter to her organic grape jelly. They just get each other, you know? They met in their college sorority, and she was actually her baby in the house! FYI: Sigma Delta Tau had babies, not littles. They love being "foodies" together, and constantly are daydreaming when they can live in the same city again. She is an extraordinary Improv artist, performing on Norwegian Cruise-lines for Second City. She is also just an extraordinary person, and Katie is so ecstatic she'll be apart of her wedding!

Speaking of hitting the jackpot, Katie and AnaTeresa are a rare success story for random Freshman year dorm assignments. They bonded over their mutual love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and also the fact that living together was way too easy. Ana is the best mediator you can find, which is probably why she is always working in Management positions. It should be noted that she has excellent taste in music. Katie couldn't imagine her day without Ana being there!

Stev first met Andrew in 2000 back in middle school and only knew him as an acquaintance. It wasn't until freshman year of high school when they both joined the Swim Team that they got to know each other. Thus began a friendship that has led them, along with Andrew's twin brother Brian, to finding faith together, bunking together in college until Stev left Alaska for New Orleans, and growing into men together. Stev and Andrew have always looked after each other as brothers.

Katie was super lucky because, not only did she find a friend with her baby in the sorority, she also became friends with her mom in the house... this girl! Jess is just the coolest. She and Katie live in LA and explore the weird, yet awesome Jewish scene going on out here. Jess is incredible at yoga, has a cute puppy named Snoopy, and works as a Senior Strategist in marketing at her company. Katie loves that Jess said yes to being there for her wedding day!

Stev met Nick in the spring of 2008 at Chris' house. Nick is Chris' biological little brother. Nick has always been a vocal person that has made Stev laugh and on occcasion fume. Nick is one of the most sincere and passionate men Stev ever has met. He has always been incredibly loyal to Stev who loves Nick like a little brother. Stev has been fortuante to witness him grow into an amazing young man.

Stev met Brett his senior year of college back in 2009. Brett was rushing Lambda Chi Alpha and from the moment they met, Stev knew he had to have Brett as his little brother in the fraternity. They both shared a common love for sports, films, and drinking. But more than that, Stev could see how genuine a person Brett was. In the summer of 2013, they both moved to Los Angeles to pursue their careers in the film industry. If it weren't for Brett, Stev would have never had the courage to move to Los Angeles alone. Stev considers Brett the little brother in life he never had.

It all started with rice... Arielle's phone got wet, and she ran into Katie's room at the sorority who just happened to have rice. It was kismet. Ever since then, they were friends. Arielle lives in NYC and works in fashion. Seems as if Katie has a penchant for friends in fashion, probably because she has no fashion sense and admires them greatly. When Arielle comes to visit LA, they love hiking and trying all the new vegan eats. Arielle is such an amazingly loyal and great friend, Katie just had to ask her to be there on her day!

Stev first met Devin in the fall of 2007 when Stev was rushing Lambda Chi Alpha. Devin was the brother with the most life and humor. Always the first to make a joke and do the craziest stunt, Devin made Stev feel welcome immediately. Throughout the years, Devin and Stev would spend many hours together at their favorite bar in New Orleans, The Bulldog. Devin helped Stev through a particularly difficult time in college that has resonated with Stev to this day. It was Devin's brotherly love that helped Stev fight through this period. Stev looks up to Devin as a big brother.

Rachel and Katie always loved hanging out. One of Katie's favorite memories is making up dances with Rachel to Backstreet Boys when they were kids. Rachel is low-key saving the world... this is not a joke. She deserves medals and keys to cities. She worked with a non-profit organization in DC that helps stop Genocide, and is now going to Georgetown to be a lawyer. See? She's a goddess.  Katie can't wait to dance with her again on the day of the wedding!

Katie's broski! She's not sure why she calls him that, but that's her nickname for him. Katie and Colin have a lot in common for being siblings: they both love to read, joined the Jew Crew,  and are HUGE dorks. Colin is in the Navy, and his job is a secret... so, he's kind of a big deal. He laughs like Seth Rogen, and he makes awesomely terrible jokes. Some of Katie's best memories with Colin were the road trips to his Travel Hockey Team games. She is sad that Colin lives on the other coast, but is so happy he can make it to hold the Chuppah on her special day!

Adam is the funniest person Katie has ever known. Adam's middle name is Robert, and the family calls him Robear. Katie tweaked that nickname, and now calls him Brobear. He hates the nickname and also hugs, so Katie makes sure to call him Brobear and hug him a lot. He is the single Dad of two dogs, Karl and Arthur. He was born on a leap year, so he's really only 8 years old. Right now Adam is working in Finance in Evansville, IN, and Katie sometimes catches herself missing his humor and snarky comments out in Cali. Even though Adam doesn't practice Judaism, he is actually a Rabbi (feel free to ask him how) and will hold the Chuppah like a champ.

Cousin by blood, friend by choice. Although Katie and Leya don't get to spend a lot of time together- since you know, they live on different continents- they make the most out of the time they do spend together. Leya is an incredible human being. She works as a consultant at a company, and her job is basically making everybody a better worker and a better person in general. She is such a hard worker, and Katie is often hoping Leya's chutzpah will rub off on her when they hang out. Katie is so thankful that Leya is making the trek to America to help hold the Chuppah at her wedding!

Darren is Katie's brother-in-law and&nbsp;the first to marry into the Finn Family. He has been an inspiration to Stev on how to navigate the Finn Family waters.&nbsp;He is the most chill guy you'll ever meet, always kind and friendly,&nbsp;which is why he's in the making of being a great Doctor. Katie &&nbsp;Stev are ecstatic that he will be there to celebrate on their big day.&nbsp;

JT is the no nonsense friend that Stev has always needed. They first met in the fall of 2007 when rushing Lambda Chi Alpha. JT is the first to call out anyone on their BS but also the first to lend a hand when you need it. JT has been there for Stev on countless occasions to which Stev is forever grateful. Stev has always admired JT's passion for life and looks up to him as an older brother.

This girl cracks Katie up! Jennifer is Katie's sister-in-law, and she's the bees knees. She always knows the next big thing in make-up, which Katie and her love to pine over. Jennifer loves animals, and she has 4 dogs that are so so cute. Jennifer is studying to be a Cosmetologist, and Katie hopes she's not too annoyed when she flies out to Augusta just to get her hair done. She has graciously accepted being a Chuppah holder for the wedding, which Katie is so happy about!

McKenna is Katie's niece and quite spunky. She is so excited to wear her flower girl dress, just like the Disney princesses she adores. This girl has stolen her aunt and future Uncle's heart, as is sure to happen to you when she walks down the aisle.

Stev and Dominick rushed Lambda Chi Alpha together in the fall of 2007. Dominick not only became a fraternity brother, but a real brother in life. Always the first to make a joke that doesn't quite land, he is also the first to laugh at himself. Dominick is one of the most genuine people Stev has ever met. He is fiercely loyal to the people he loves and just as caring to the ones he just met. He is a good man and an even better brother.

Stev met Lucas in the fall of 2008 when Lucas was rushing Lambda Chi Alpha and they have been friends ever since. Lucas and Stev have always enjoyed spending time together for which they have trademarked each other as "Twin Towers" seeing as they are both so tall. Lucas is someone that Stev admires for his steadfast professionalism in his career and his penchant for having fun throughout life. Lucas has always been a honest and true brother to Stev.

Noah is Katie's nephew, and he is always putting a smile on her and Stev's face. He loves Five Night at Freddy's, although his mother does not love that he loves Five Nights at Freddy's. This is his second time being a Ring Bearer, so he's basically an expert.

So, there's this little boy who is just adorable. He's the third Dulay child,&nbsp;and his hobbies include: taking his stuffed elephant everywhere, hanging out with his older siblings&nbsp;"Woahwah" and Kenni, and going down slides. Katie and Stev can't wait to have him accompany his siblings down the aisle in just a few months!

The room rate for the Hyatt Regency is $130 a night for a Deluxe Standard King or 2 Queen beds, with a 2 night minimum stay ($260 altogether). 

Balcony Rooms with a King are $155/night, and 2 Queen beds are $185/night. 

*Last day to book a room is 30 days before the wedding day- October 2nd, 2018.

You can fly into the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. Located 45 minutes to 1 hour&nbsp;away, depending on traffic.&nbsp;

Renting a car is recommended to afford yourself more flexibility with your trip. 

There is a shuttle, but please be aware that it only runs three times a day from the airport to the resort&nbsp;(12:30PM, 4:30PM, 12:00AM) and to the airport from the resort (7:00AM, 9:00AM, 12:45PM).&nbsp;It&nbsp;must be scheduled to do so and has a fee of $49/person with a discount for groups.&nbsp;

You can come in through the Sacramento International Airport, it is 2 hours away. You can rent a car, although chains are suggested at this time of year. You can also choose to take the Amtrak "California Zephyr" to Truckee, and then the TART bus from Truckee to Incline Village.

Grand Lodge Casino is located inside the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe in Incline Village. The casino boasts 20,000 square feet of gaming floor with more than 100 video poker machines ranging from 1 cent to $25. There are an additional 260 slot machines on the floor and check out the promotions calendar to get in on the events and tournaments that take place throughout the year. For those looking for table games, check out the 16 tables offering blackjack, craps and roulette. After all that, check out the casino's sports book to check that bet on your favorite team or just have a beer and catch a game on the many flat-screen TVs.

Tahoe Brew Tours offers the only Brewery Tours in the Tahoe Basin. Each tour lasts between 5 and 6 hours and visits at least 3 different craft breweries and includes appetizers and snacks for all guests, as well as sample flights of craft beer at each of the stops along the way. Learn about the human and natural history of the Lake Tahoe area from your driver and tour guide, as well as the art of craft brewing from brew masters that personally tour guests through their brewing facilities. "Bowl Incline is your one-stop destination for family fun and recreation. The bowling alley sports 16 natural wood lanes with automatic scoring. For kids they've got bumpers and lightweight balls. It's a great place to host a birthday or other party, and lessons are available. Their billiard room contains six tournament-size tables rented by the hour. If it's snowing outside and you're dying to golf, bring in your clubs and work on your game in their Full Swing Golf simulator. You can also visit the arcade for video games, pinball or air hockey. They don't serve food, but there's a full bar with video poker. They've also got a pro bowling shop with fitting and drilling on-site, pool cues and billiard equipment. Bowl Incline is smoke-free and open daily 11 am until midnight except most holidays. They're at the intersection of Southwood Boulevard and Incline Way."

Go zip-lining or check out an Aerial Adventure Park at the newest location in the Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park family. Located within the 125-acre North Tahoe Regional Park in Tahoe Vista, CA! We used a continuous belay safety system to allow a smoother and more seamless experience for all participants. No more constant clipping and unclipping or ducking under safety cables. Additionally, there is no height requirement for any of the courses. As an added bonus, many of the tree platforms have views of Lake Tahoe!

Tahoe Treetop Adventure Park - Tahoe Vista

Take a scenic Gondola ride! Experience one of the greatest views of Lake Tahoe with a Scenic Gondola Ride. Get on the Gondola in the Heavenly Village and have your camera ready - the 2.4 mile ride will leave you breathless. Stop at the Observation Deck for panoramic views of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding Sierra Nevada mountains. We can't promise that skiing, snowboarding, or tubing will be happening the weekend we get married, but if it is going to happen- it'll be here! They have the earliest opening days for the winter season. So, check the websites for updates to see if it's doable!

Mt. Rose Ski Tahoe

Grover Hot Springs State Park is located on the east side of the Sierra at the edge of the Great Basin Province, characterized by open pine forest, and sagebrush and meadows. The park has a pool complex with a hot pool and a swimming pool hot springs, a campground, picnic area and hiking trails.Prices for hot spring pool use are $10 per adult and $5 per child. Please call ahead for current operating hours (530) 694-2249 – this may save you an unnecessary trip.

Hiking TrailsSome of the most breathtaking views are offered from the hikes in Incline Village. The reason is that a lot of the water that is closest to this part of the mountainous ridge line is accentuated with hues of turquoise, giving the views a special quality. A few hikes that deserve mentioning include the Flume Trail, which has outstanding views, eventually connecting with Spooner Lake. There's a wonderful short mile hike that is suitable for wheelchairs and strollers off of Mount Rose Highway, Tahoe Meadows. A well-manicured loop, the trail is often framed with blooming wildflowers and lively mountain creeks. There are other harder hikes off of Mount Rose, one of the hardest being a full-day excursion to the top of Mount Rose itself. The link has other suggestions for hiking trails around the lake!
