The home of William Faulkner. William Faulkner remains one of the most celebrated and studied authors in the world, with conferences, societies, and journals dedicated to his life and work. He won the Nobel Prize for Literature in 1949 and the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award in 1954.

North Mississippis first distillery, Wonderbird Spirits, is an eight minute drive south of Oxford on Old Taylor Road. A favorite spot for the parents of the bride!
If you fly into Memphis early, check out the historic Peabody Hotel! You can watch the ducks march down to the lobby fountain daily at 11am and watch them march back up to their duck palace at 5pm each day.
