Their story began on a Sunday afternoon at the Montauk restaurant located in Old Town Scottsdale, Arizona.

Little did Andrew know that this day would introduce him to someone who would change his life forever.

However, it wasn't love at first sight.

Intriguingly, Andrew's initial disappointment stemmed from the fact that his friend had invited Katie, the same person he had spotted at Buffalo Chip the night before. Her mysterious glances from across the bar had left him intrigued but bewildered. Little did he realize that fate was on his side.

As weeks turned into months, Andrew soon discovered that Katie was not just beautiful but the most amazing person he had ever met. Friendship blossomed, and their connection deepened. It was during this time that Katie extended an invitation that would change the course of their lives forever.

When Katie invited Andrew to spend ten days with her family in Coronado, it caught him completely off guard... as well as both of their families and friends.

In a heart-to-heart conversation, they decided to explore this connection further. Those ten days proved to be nothing short of magical. In the beautiful city of Coronado, they confessed their love for each other, and on July 7th, 2021, they officially began their journey as boyfriend and girlfriend

Over the next two years, they embarked on a remarkable adventure together, finding strength in each other even during the toughest of times. Katie and Andrew shared a profound connection over the values of family and friendship, a shared love for travel, and a mutual understanding that life is best lived with a sense of humor.

It didn't take long for them to realize that what they had was meant to last a lifetime. And so, on July 14th, 2023, at the Camelback Inn, Andrew surprised Katie with an engagement ring, surrounded by their immediate family who eagerly awaited the joyful moment. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and promises of a beautiful future together.

As they prepare to say "I do" in the place they were fortunate to call home in October of 2022, Katie and Andrew are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible journey that has led them to this point.
