Our Wedding

As 8 year old Katie Faye Gardiner drifted off to sleep in her family home of 36 Helmsdale, Swindon, living just over 500ft away, a 10 year old Joseph Benjamin Tedder lay sleeping in his bed. Little did she know that this boy would grow into the man she would come to marry. Unfortunately, at this time destiny held different plans for the pair and their paths diverged in 2006. However, fate would soon try once again to bring them together.&nbsp; In July 2015 Joseph joined Wiltshire Police whilst Katie was employed as a Sales Assistant at Whittards. She would later move on to work at Swindon Borough Council as a Personal Advisor where she remained for several years. Lacking the fulfilment she sought after, Katie then commenced a new phase in her career as a Local Crime Investigator for Wiltshire Police in November 2020. Despite working in the same building, another 2 years would pass by and before a frustrated cupid ditched his bow for a sniper rifle, he decided the pair were worth one final shot at happiness. His arrows finally met their mark on 12/02/23 as Joseph and Katie were united at last when they met for the very first time in the parade room at Gablecross police station.&nbsp; A few weeks later on 03/03/23 they shared their last 'first date' as the pair went for a walk at Lydiard Park in Swindon with Katie's two dogs Percy and Loki. By the end of their walk and 3 poo bags later, they quickly came to realise that they each held the piece of the puzzle that had been missing in their respective lives.&nbsp; United by laughter and bonded by love, 2 years later the pair prepare to make the ultimate dedication on 03/03/25 as they join hands, turn the page and begin to write the next exciting chapter of their lives together.

Rooms can be booked at the wedding venue for the night of the wedding: - Single rooms are £58- Double rooms are £96- Twin rooms are £96- Family rooms are £120 Plus an additional £5 per person for breakfast the next morning.

Instax Selfie Camera

There will be an Instax camera on a display table at the venue. Guests are encouraged to use this to take selfies and write a short message on a slip of paper before sealing them in one of the small photo sized envelopes in our Wedding Book for us to look back on after the big day.
