Our Wedding

Our story began after graduating college, Katie and Logan both decided to download the dating app hinge. In July 2022 Logan popped up on Katie's page. They both matched with each-other and began talking on the app. They instantly hit it off and within a few days they exchanged phone numbers. After texting and face timing they thought it was time to meet. They planned a date to go to subzero for ice cream. They both were so eager to met each other that they ended up meeting the night before their date. They talked for hours about everything and began really building their connection. The next day they did met for ice cream and knew that this was the real deal. Family is important to both, so it was crucial that the families liked the other person. They each fit into the other person's family so perfectly. On July 18, 2022 Logan asked Katie to be his girlfriend. As they began to get to know each other more the more their love grew so much so that after 4 months of dating Logan was asking Katie's friends for her ring size. After began the many laughs and the memories of going to Notre Dame games together, going to Chicago for day trips, and the endless boat days in the summer. In March of 2024 they took the next step and got their first one bedroom apartment together. It was tight, they had little to no space apart, but in that little apartment their love grew more than imagined and it was certain that they would spend forever together. Katie and Logan shopped for engagement rings together. Katie went on a friend's bachelorette trip in August and while she was on the plane, Logan planned to met with her dad for lunch to get his blessing. This was smart on his part because if you know Katie, she is always looking at locations. Logan her dad met and he gave his blessing. Then on October 12, 2024 they were engaged! Katie had suspicions that it was going to happen. They spent the day on a fall train ride with Katie's mom and sister. Then going to met with Logan's parents after for a show at the Platinum in downtown Carmel. Surprise! There was no show just Logan getting down on one knee to ask Katie to marry him.... &amp; she said yes! After they spent their engagement celebrating with family, friends and those closest to them. They ended up moving to a bigger place in 2025 to have more space but to also expand their family with a fur baby! Logan and Katie had always wanted a dog and after three days of thinking about it, Katie found Luna on a website. They immediately bought all of the puppy necessities and drove up north. There was no question that they would not bring home a puppy. After looking at all of the puppies they brought their little baby, Luna home. Katie and Logan's love is unconditional, trusting, safe, and a profound connection, expressed through acts of support, understanding, and valuing another's growth. They are each others best friends and can not wait to spend forever together with the little family they have created so far!
