Katie and Logan’s story began shortly after graduating college, when they both decided to download the dating app Hinge. In July 2022, Logan appeared on Katie’s screen—and from that moment, everything started to fall into place. They matched, began messaging, and instantly hit it off. Within just a few days, they exchanged phone numbers and quickly moved from texting to FaceTiming, eager to get to know one another more. Their connection was undeniable, and they couldn’t wait to meet in person. Although they had planned a first date at Sub Zero for ice cream, their excitement got the best of them—they ended up meeting the night before. That evening, they talked for hours, diving into conversation effortlessly and beginning to build a meaningful connection. The following day, they still went on their planned ice cream date, where they both realized this was something truly special. Family has always been incredibly important to both Katie and Logan, so it meant everything that they blended so seamlessly into each other’s lives. Each felt right at home with the other’s family, a sign that their relationship was built on a strong and lasting foundation.On July 18, 2022, Logan officially asked Katie to be his girlfriend. As their relationship continued to grow, so did their love for one another. Just four months later, Logan was already asking Katie’s friends for her ring size—a clear sign of how certain he was about their future. Together, they created countless memories filled with laughter: cheering at Notre Dame games, taking spontaneous day trips to Chicago, and enjoying endless summer days out on the boat.In March 2024, they took the next step and moved into their first one-bedroom apartment together. Though the space was small and offered little room for separation, it only brought them closer. In that cozy apartment, their bond deepened even more, and it became clear they were meant to spend forever together. When it came time for an engagement, Logan and Katie even went ring shopping together. Later that summer, while Katie was away on a friend’s bachelorette trip in August, Logan took the opportunity to meet with her dad and ask for his blessing. Knowing Katie’s attention to detail and knack for noticing things, he chose his moment wisely. Her dad gave his wholehearted approval, making the moment even more meaningful. On October 12, 2024, Logan asked Katie to marry him. Although Katie had a feeling it might be coming, Logan still managed to surprise her. After spending the day enjoying a fall train ride with her mom and sister, they planned to meet Logan’s parents at the Platinum in downtown Carmel for a show. But there was no show—just Logan getting down on one knee and asking the most important question. Of course, Katie said yes. They celebrated their engagement surrounded by family, friends, and the people who mean the most to them. In 2025, they moved into a larger home, ready for their next chapter—and that included growing their family. Both had always dreamed of having a dog, and after just a few days of talking it over, Katie found Luna online. Without hesitation, they gathered all the puppy essentials and made the drive to bring her home. The moment they met her, they knew she was meant to be theirs. Katie and Logan share a love that is unconditional, trusting, and deeply rooted in support and understanding. They are truly best friends, building a life centered on growth, joy, and partnership. Together—along with their sweet pup Luna—they are so excited for all that the future holds and can’t wait to spend forever side by side.
