Our Wedding

We both believe that God put us on the paths we needed to lead us to this point in our lives to share together. We both went to Plant High School and graduated a year apart. Though our paths did not cross are friendships have been intertwined since the beginning. A few years ago we ran into each other in our recovery meetings and we would see each other here and there, always saying hi but only as a support on our different paths in life. In the summer of 2022 we both ended up at our good friend's birthday party and we found ourselves talking and supporting each other ever since. Shannon had just started his own trucking business and was out on the road and we found ways to travel, hang out, and get to know each other that showed Katie there is more to life than just work! Shannon knew from the start that Katie was the one and spent his time showing her what true love is; showing up in ways she did not know a man could. In June of 2023 Shannon proposed in NC a place special to both of us. We both look forward to sharing life in the good and the bad and most of all celebrating our love with all of those we love.

We are beyond thankful that you can travel to celebrate with us at the beautiful <a href="https://www.foxhallresort.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Foxhall Resort</a>! The entire resort is in a room block for our wedding weekend, please use the links below to book your accommodations. Should you choose to not stay on the resort property we have included a few options below. We will provide transportation on the day of the wedding from the Holiday Inn and the Hampton Inn as well as onsite. If you plan to fly, we recommend arriving at the <a href="https://www.atl.com/" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">Atlanta International Airport</a>. Foxhall is a scenic 30-minute drive from the Atlanta airport.
