Picture it, USA-January 2021, COVID-19 was in full swing. Finding love seemed beyond reach. Human interaction in a time of uncertainty, solitude, and quarantine bubbles was rare; if at all. If you were brave enough to try and rejoin the outside world, it was at a distance while always wearing a mask and using lots of hand sanitizer. Not that anyone needs to be reminded of that! So, with that being said, I'm sure you are now thinking, how in the heck did these two goobers get together? Well, like most people these days, we met online. My friend Brie swiped right and the rest is history. We went back and forth for at least a month before we both realized we were talking daily and it was downright silly that we hadn't met yet! Sooooo, we threw caution to the wind and went out for tapas, 3 hours later the waiter politely asked us to leave because the restaurant had close 20 minutes earlier, but they didn't have the heart to tell us. We regularly joke that it took a global pandemic to bring us together, but it's true. In a time when most people pulled back, we leaned forward and among the chaos found our soulmates. I am so excited to be marrying my best friend.
