Katie and Brandon’s story began with an unexpected spark, one of those rare moments when two people cross paths and something just feels right. Despite their busy lives, they carved out time for a spontaneous Saturday night first date, where they discovered a love that felt both new and timeless.

Their first date was unforgettable. They went ice skating in downtown Milwaukee, where Brandon’s warmth and charm had Katie smiling and laughing from the very start. There was an instant connection that felt easy and familiar, as if they had known each other for years. They ended the evening with a romantic dinner, savoring the kind of conversation that made time disappear. It was one of those nights that felt like the beginning of something truly special.

From there, everything fell into place. They started spending more and more time together, going on countless fun dates, and meeting each other’s family and friends. Life kept changing around them with new jobs and new cities, but they embraced every twist and turn together.

One special companion along for the journey has been Katie’s dog, Link, who formed an instant and special bond with Brandon and may love him almost as much as Katie does.

After the couple temporarily relocated to North Carolina for work, Brandon accepted a new career opportunity, taking him to Fairbault, Minnesota and Huron, South Dakota for training. Even through the distance and change, their love continued to grow.

Then came the trip that changed everything. A vacation to Punta Cana. Between swimming with dolphins, sipping cocktails, and indulging in room service, Brandon pulled off the surprise of a lifetime. He had secretly planned a golden hour beach proposal complete with a heart-shaped rose petal display, champagne, a bouquet of roses, and even a photographer to capture the moment. It was dreamy, intimate, and completely magical. Katie had no idea it was coming and she said yes!

Now, Katie and Brandon have found a new home together in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. They love exploring new places together, spending time with the people they love, and embracing every new chapter life has in store. Wherever they go next, they know they’ve already found home in each other.
