If you're visiting Portland Maine, it'd be a miss not to try the local beer from Portland's best micro breweries. Here, at Mash Tun, you can try them all!

Though there are lots of incredible bars to check out in the Old Port, Mash Tun is one of our all time favorites.

Hanging around for a while before or after the wedding?

If you have time, the Lucky Catch leaves right from the Portland Old Port and takes you out into Casco Bay on an actual lobstering boat. You'll catch your own lobster, cruise around the Harbor, and be a lobsterman or woman for the day. It's fun for all ages and definitely a full Maine experience!

You don't have to travel far in Portland to find a lobster roll. There are several great options around the area including: High Roller, Portland Lobster Company, Even Tide, and many more that a quick Google search will help you find.

Luke's Lobster is a great option, right on the water, with seafood and other food options to choose from.

Brickyard Hollow is a great pizza place, located right down the street from the US Custom House venue.

Portland has several islands right off its coast. For a fun, island excursion, we recommend taking the Casco Bay ferry over to Peaks Island for the day!

The ferry ride is just 20 minutes and is a great way to work in a boat ride. Once on the island, you can grab ice cream, eat at local restaurants, and even rent golf carts for your own private tour of the entire island.
